Everyday anthemsnos

Elton John turned extravagance into a form of truth. He made the stage his home, excess his calling card, risk his declaration. His style—free, honest, original—is still a manifesto of identity. A celebration of difference as a deeply personal form of expression.

But Elton didn’t just compose songs. With him, emotion became spectacle. His music, his aesthetics, his way of inhabiting the world built a unique expressive architecture—where the intimate becomes a manifesto, and truth. In him, everything has intention: every note, every silhouette, every sequin.

Since the 1970s, he didn’t settle for belonging to his time—he challenged it. He dressed it in colour and light. His melodies are anthems not because they aim to please, but because they liberate. Because they speak of what we all feel, of what happens to us and we often can’t express. And his voice—like design when it’s sincere—interprets states of the soul.

That same expressive power defines the brands represented by Espacio con Hache. Brands that shape their products through form and materiality; that bet on well-resolved functionality, on simplicity with character. Soft yet assertive forms, industrial materials treated with sensitivity, pieces where comfort can also be exuberant.

Like Elton, these are pieces that don’t ask permission to occupy space: they inhabit it with presence and authenticity. And in doing so, they transform it.

Every finish, every texture, every colour variation is a form of reinvention. Just as Elton John’s outfit changes were not only aesthetic but narrative, these pieces also adapt to their context.

Designs that are a statement of the present. Collections with a visual narrative where Astep’s technical and emotional research, +Halle’s architectural versatility, Andersen Furniture’s warm elegance, Röshults’ free and essential aesthetic, Eikund’s avant-garde heritage, and Massimo Copenhagen’s refined modernity coexist. Together, they define new codes of contemporary comfort.

Each piece invites us to choose materials that tell a story, or proportions that bring rhythm to a space. Finishes that speak to the architecture, dimensions that respond to real project needs. Like a well-composed song, each piece finds harmony in the context where it is placed.

His work reminds us that sometimes, we must be brave. That there are songs that speak of what we feel but cannot always say. And they make us resonate, as if telling, aloud, something deeply our own.

Elton John showed us that there are many ways to be oneself. That coherence can also be versatile. That essential doesn’t mean colourless, or formless. That’s how we understand design: as a language that shifts in tone without losing its truth.

Designs that, like anthems, are remembered. That don’t just occupy space—but give it a voice.

Fluffy by Eikund it is an example of the relevance of 1950s avant-garde design in today’s life.

Summit by +Halle is a contemporary and dynamic proposal for shared spaces.

This month, we delve into the creative universe of Norm Architects.

One piece, one aesthetic, one way of inhabiting.
Each month we present a new arrival that represents us. A piece with a story.

Thanks

This website is dedicated to all those people who, in one way or another, have helped this project/dream/desire to begin and take shape.

Special thanks to my wife and my parents for supporting me, to Cristina Escarrà and Alfonso Pérez Rosales for generously sharing with me their experience as agents, to those clients who, in one way or another, have given me wise advice, to the brands that have placed their trust in me, and to Gonzalo, my godfather, who, with his always generous help, and guiding me throughout this process, is largely to blame for the fact that I can boast of being an “entrepreneur”.

Thanks also to Nuria, Rafa and Guillermo, who, to help me in the hard beginnings of any entrepreneurial activity, have opened the doors of their home, let me share with them a bit of their personal lives when I pass through their cities of residence, and give me free accommodation.

Thanks to all!
