Lars Tornøe started with a particularly simple question: what is the minimum needed to create a sofa?

The structure as a starting point.

The central element of the design is the wooden base that supports the cushions, creating a balance between lightness and solidity that recalls the constructive clarity of Japanese furniture.

Available in natural oak or smoked oak, this structure is no longer a hidden element but becomes the most expressive part of the project.

Designing to last.

Less removes everything that is not essential. The collection avoids the use of glue and staples, allowing each component to be easily assembled, disassembled and replaced.

This constructive logic simplifies transportation through flat-pack packaging and extends the sofa’s lifespan, making it possible to renew individual parts without replacing the entire piece.

A way of designing where sustainability does not depend on a single material, but on decisions that facilitate care, repair and long-term use.

Simplicity requires precision.

Available in two- and three-seater versions, the cushions can be upholstered in a carefully selected range of fabrics and colours.
