Conic by Pott Project. Geometry as a language of light.

May, 2026 • 1 Min. Read — General

Conic emerges at the precise point where matter and form meet. Designed by Laura Bilde and Linnea Ek Blæhr for Pott Project, the collection interprets geometry through ceramics, transforming essential volumes into a luminous presence that feels both precise and serene.

Cubes, spheres and cones overlap in balance, constructing a minimal architecture where every element finds its place. Proportion and the relationship between these fundamental forms define the character of the collection.

Light as structure.

In Conic, light is not merely functional, but an active part of the form itself. The shade behaves like a living surface, modulating reflections and shadows that softly transform the surrounding space. Geometry ceases to be static and becomes a changing composition shaped by the incidence of light.

This dialogue between precision and sensitivity defines the collection. The clarity of its lines coexists with the expressiveness of handcrafted ceramics, creating pieces where technique and material are balanced naturally.

Ceramic, gloss and presence.

Faithful to the language of Pott Project, Conic celebrates the honesty of the material. The high-gloss ceramic, available in rust, white and black, brings depth and nuance to every volume. Light reflects across the surface, intensifying its sculptural dimension without losing restraint.

Available in pendant, ceiling, wall, table, floor and portable versions, Conic adapts to different contexts while maintaining a coherent formal identity. Variations that expand its use without altering the essence of the collection.

The table and floor versions incorporate a ceramic base, extending the material continuity of the whole.

A geometry that endures.

Conic reaffirms Pott Project’s way of understanding design: a balance between craftsmanship and contemporaneity, where form is reduced to its essence and material retains all of its expressiveness.

Because sometimes geometry does not only construct the object. It also constructs the light.

Thanks

This website is dedicated to all those people who, in one way or another, have helped this project/dream/desire to begin and take shape.

Special thanks to my wife and my parents for supporting me, to Cristina Escarrà and Alfonso Pérez Rosales for generously sharing with me their experience as agents, to those clients who, in one way or another, have given me wise advice, to the brands that have placed their trust in me, and to Gonzalo, my godfather, who, with his always generous help, and guiding me throughout this process, is largely to blame for the fact that I can boast of being an “entrepreneur”.

Thanks also to Nuria, Rafa and Guillermo, who, to help me in the hard beginnings of any entrepreneurial activity, have opened the doors of their home, let me share with them a bit of their personal lives when I pass through their cities of residence, and give me free accommodation.

Thanks to all!
