With Mio, Takagi/Homstvedt translates this idea into a piece where every decision follows a clear constructive logic. Originally designed to accompany the Ami sofa system, the collection soon developed an identity of its own thanks to a language that feels equally at home in a wide variety of settings.

Geometry in balance.

The steel frame supports two circular oak tabletops through a cantilevered arrangement that gives the piece a sense of lightness. The lower shelf extends its functionality without compromising the clarity of the composition, providing a natural place for books, magazines and everyday objects.

Its construction recalls certain principles of modern architecture, as well as the structural honesty championed by Enzo Mari in Autoprogettazione, where form emerges directly from the way individual elements relate to one another.

Mio is available in a single size, featuring a metal frame in either black or grey, paired with solid oak tops that bring warmth to the overall composition.

The table is supplied flat-packed to optimise transportation and can be assembled in just a few minutes using a simple fixing system.
