It is a language rarely seen in outdoor furniture, yet instantly recognisable within Tom Dixon’s creative universe.

After more than a decade of research and development, Groove marks the British designer’s first venture into outdoor furniture. A collection where aluminium and manufacturing precision define pieces designed to inhabit terraces, gardens and open-air spaces with complete ease.

Developed from experience gained through previous projects and building on the Hydro chair introduced in 2021, Groove explores the expressive and technical potential of aluminium.

Lightweight, durable and particularly well suited to outdoor environments, this material makes it possible to create highly precise pieces capable of withstanding daily use and demanding weather conditions. The collection also features a high-performance powder-coated finish, free from solvents and volatile organic compounds, which protects the surfaces against wear, scratches and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

The Groove family includes a chair, armchair, lounge chair, stool, round table and dining table. A collection conceived to work together seamlessly and adapt to different contexts, from residential settings to hospitality and contract projects.

Made from lightweight aluminium, the chairs, lounge chairs and stools can be stacked easily, simplifying storage and transportation. The seating can be complemented with cushions designed specifically for the collection, upholstered in water-repellent fabrics and fitted with a non-slip base for added stability.

Available in Moss and Putty, the collection extends its character through colour. Two soft, timeless finishes that allow the pieces to connect naturally with both vegetation and architecture.
