Snøhetta

Famous for social space and porous buildings, Snøhetta creates empowerment in the form of built engagement.

In contrast to the architecture of formal description, this studio skillfully generates cultural monuments. The firm is also known for its method, applying spaces for un-programmed activities, large tables for eating together and a model shop. By building prototypes by hand, Snøhetta transcends a sense of non-precious creative ownership into their outcomes.
